Kodak earns accolades at Graph Expo

Recently introduced products from Kodak received a combined total of 10 Must See ‘ems, Worth-a-Look and Future Print citations at Graph Expo 2008. Winners in the program, which is sponsored by the Graphic Arts Show Company and conducted independently by the PrintCom Consulting Group, were selected from more than 5,000 entries. Must See ‘ems products and services represent the technology most likely to impact all types of print service providers, while products that don’t have as wide an application or broad impact on the industry yet are important for niche markets or selected groups of printers or converters are recommended to show visitors as Worth-a-Look.

Kodak’s Colorflow Software, Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic Plates, Nexpress Dimensional Clear Dry Ink and CX Screening Technology earned Must See ‘ems. Worth-a-Look recognition went to the Kodak’s Insite Campaign Manager, Darwin VDP Software and Versamark VL2000 Printing System.

The xompany’s Web to Print Solutions was designated as Still Worth-a-Look, which goes to past Must See ‘ems that remain broadly important and represent compelling products or services still worthy of recognition.

Introduced this year was a new category called Future Print that recognizes future technology and concepts. The Kodak Digimaster EX300 Digital Production System and the Stream Concept Printhead were two out of the four products to earn recognition in this area.

“It’s an honor to earn prestigious Must See ‘ems awards, which distinguish products and services for their ability to positively impact a product category,” says Kevin Joyce, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communication Group. “Our 10 recognitions in various categories reflect our efforts to develop solutions that can help customers grow in all segments of the industry.”
